Parent Leadership

Scouting operates through volunteer leadership. Volunteer leaders are an example of Scouting's principle of service to others. Naturally, parents are the primary sources of leaders in the Scouting program. You volunteer not only to serve Scouting, but also to serve your Cub and their friends, and to have the chance to be a positive influence on the youth in our community.  A background in scouting is NOT required!

All leadership positions within Pack 548 are served by parent volunteers. As current leaders move up and on to Boy Scouts, new positions in the Pack and Committee become available. Please check with the Committee Chair to see what is open. We can use all the help that we can get. There may just be a position that suits you!
